Well, as you may have noticed, I have gone back to drawing the simpler black and white comic strips. I really enjoyed how the full color comic book sized pages looked and I was quickly (relativly speaking) getting the hang on laying them out. However, you may have noticed a sudden lack of “promptitude”, may i say “ontimeyness”. Well turns out, I get reeeally burnt out on projects that take longer than two hours every other night. The problem began when I found myself working (note: work is the antithesis of fun) every night on what began as a fun hobby. While I still enjoyed finishing the pages and getting them posted, I felt like a hypocrite everytime I looked at the from page of my comic. “Updating every MON. WED. and FRI.” I thought it would be much more accurate to add “Once a month”
So, heres what I’m thinking. From now on, MON WED and FRI are the standard black and white comic strips you all know and love. While sporadically (for awhile) I’ll post short full color comic book pages on the weekends. The whole point for the comic book pages is so that I can collect them together as full books someday.
Hopefully this will also allow me to ATTEND a couple more comic cons this year. I missed out on a couple brand new ones last year I REALLY wanted to go to. Not to mention, make some actual quality products for all you lucky people.
Keep checking back and keep speading the word,,, RAVILOB, The Little Town that AWESOME Built is back,,,, and ontime (for now).
Casey

I’m excited to see Ravilob is back!
